Gesture-driven drawings capturing motion, balance and the energy of dance.

In this series of dance drawings, I explore the body in motion — the balance, tension, and lightness that happen in an instant. These are gesture drawings inspired by images of dancers, created with a focus on the energy of the movement: quick lines, rhythm, contrast, and expression.
I’m more interested in capturing the feeling of motion than the “perfect pose.” Each drawing aims to translate choreography onto paper: the direction of the gaze, the weight of the body, suspension, and strength. The result is a set of expressive ballet and contemporary dance drawings, with a loose, emotional line in which the figure is built from impulse and presence.
If you’re looking for original dance-themed art, this collection brings together studies and finished pieces that work well in minimalist or classic interiors — and also make a thoughtful gift for lovers of ballet, dance, and the performing arts.
