Storyboards & Animation Concepts

Explore my storyboard work—frames that map out short narratives and film-like moments.

From character-driven scenes to visual storytelling in motion, these projects reveal how I imagine timing, emotion, and atmosphere in journeys both intimate and cinematic.

Storyboard / Flipbook Animation – Colour & Ghosts

These storyboard panels (designed for flipbook animation) imagine a sequence where vibrant living figures collide with spectral presences. The coloured characters pulse with life, while the grey, ghost-like ones drift in the background — their transparency and muted tone suggesting memory, absence, or another plane.

Storyboard – Thundering Through New Zealand

This storyboard follows a young female character navigating her life at university. The sequential images capture her inner world and everyday gestures, blending youthful energy with a sense of nostalgia for traditional film projection.

Animation / Storyboard – Transaction Story

This storyboard/animation project follows the journey of an individual in India navigating the sometimes chaotic, often comedic process of purchasing a SIM card. Through expressive sketches and frame-by-frame storytelling, the work highlights not only the logistics of the process, but also the character’s emotions—frustration, patience, delight—and the textures of place: sounds, colors, bustle, and the rhythm of waiting.
